Since last year's annual Golden Globes ceremony was canceled from the writing strike, I was certainly looking forward to the major star wattage that made up last night's red carpet.Kate Winslet, one of my favorite actresses, not only nabbed 2 awards for lead actress in Revolutionary Road and one for her supporting performance in The Reader, she was one of the best dressed and tressed at yesterday's glamorous affair. Her hair looked super shiny and healthy with a french twist updo and side swept bangs framing her face. It matched her strapless Yves Saint Laurent dress perfectly. She also made a statement with a classic red lip, mirroring old Hollywood glam.
Some of the other celebs that pulled off a great red lipstick last night were Maggie Gyllenhaal, Christina Applegate and Anne Hathaway.
